I would fix both. Sell the ‘vert in the Spring and keep them both numbers matching, and survivors. No reason not to for that price.

These cars are probably rotted through. I had one that spent it’s life in AZ and it had rust holes. I bought mine running with about $500 in new parts/seals and Datsun mag wheels for $2k. Ended up making a quick sale for $1,500 because I wanted a bike. These cars are cool but they aren’t worth anything.

I have a ‘61 that I barely have enough room to work on, I’ll probably be pulling the drivetrain this weekend. The diff fluid leak went from “annoying” to “excessive” when I went through a quart in three days.
